Bert and the Bible
One of my husband’s Christmas gifts was this ESV (English Standard Version) Study Bible. Most mornings our cat, Bert, will sit on my lap as I pray and read my Bible. He’s a pretty spiritual cat, remember the nativity! That being said, Bert also liked this gift. Although it seems his favorite part of the new Bible was the ribbon bookmark . . .

Silly kitty, chewing on the bookmark instead of meditating on the Word of God. C'mon, Bert, you gotta take your spiritual life a bit more seriously. ;)
ReplyDeleteI guess a dangling ribbon is just too tempting and distracting . . . not exactly what distracts me from the Bible . . . but who am I to judge? ;)
