Summer Flowers

A few weekends ago my husband took me to check out a local greenhouse.  While there we purchased a hanging basket for our deck.  Since we live in an apartment we don't have our own garden, but it is nice to have some summer color!
We also purchased this fun watering can to help me water.

  1. Lovely pictures! Soooo, what are the flowers we're looking at here? Geraniums (pink) and .....? Cute watering can! Love you!

  2. Besides the pink Geraniums, we have Bacopa (white flower) and Scaveola or Fan Flower (purple). There is also a foliage plant, but I don't know what it is. At first glance it looks like Sprengeri fern, but it has a much softer texture and I'm sure that's not what it is. It's leaves are sort of the shape of lavender, but smaller and it has no scent.

The watering can is not as practical as we had hoped. You have to pour very slowly to prevent water from flowing over the sides of the spout instead of into the pot. We had hoped it would make watering up high easier, but it only helps a little bit. Oh well, it was quite economical!
